Step-by-step guide

Every chapter walks you through a real page of the site, step by step, pointing at the thing it is talking about.

Creating an account

7

What the form asks for, which name other players will see, and what is already in the account the moment it exists.

  1. 1 Register — top right corner Registration and signing in are two plain text links in the top right corner, next to the language selector and the online player counter. There is no button here — you are looking for the word Register.
  2. 2 Player name The name other players see. Letters and spaces only, no digits, and up to 20 characters. Every word starts with a capital letter and carries no capitals inside it, so "Uwerta Player" is accepted and "UwertaPlayer" is not. Champion and skin names are taken.
  3. 3 Login This is what you type when signing in — here and in the game client. Other players never see it, and it does not have to resemble your player name. It has to be unique.
  4. 4 E-mail Used to recover a forgotten password. You do not have to confirm it: the account works from the moment you create it, and no confirmation message is sent.
  5. 5 Password At least 6 characters, typed twice. The same password gets you into the site and into the game client.
  6. 6 Preview and video Next to the form there is a picture from the game and a short video about registering. Worth a look before you start filling anything in.
  7. 7 What happens after you click CREATE ACCOUNT takes you to a confirmation page with an "Enter Arena" button leading to the login form. The new account already holds 5 champions — Castiele, Lunaris, Pixolino, Saguaron and Cryon — plus the ones from the current rotation, one avatar, two chests and three random elixirs. Opening a chest needs a key, and a new account has none: a key costs 150 ShopPoints, or comes from the referral programme.

Signing in

6

Login is not your player name, what "remember me" really does, and what waits behind the three links under the form.

  1. 1 Login, not player name Type the LOGIN you chose when registering, not the player name others see. They are two different things and easy to mix up.
  2. 2 Password The same password works here and in the game client. After 30 failed attempts the account is locked for one minute.
  3. 3 Remember me Keeps you signed in after you close the browser. On a computer that is not yours, leave it unticked.
  4. 4 Sign in After signing in you always land on the home page — even if you came here from somewhere else.
  5. 5 Three links below the form A forgotten password, creating an account, and resending the confirmation e-mail. You will not normally need the last one: an account created here is active straight away.
  6. 6 The column beside A picture from the game and three headings: Active Players, Ranked Matches, Champions. They are labels, not counters — there are no numbers behind them.

Finding your way around

6

What the top bar really shows, every entry of the side menu, and the ones you will use most.

You need to be signed in — these steps happen on pages that ask for an account.

  1. 1 The top bar Social links, Active Players with the online counter, the language selector, your avatar (it leads to My Account), a Premium badge when you have one, and Logout. There is NO points balance here — your wallet is shown in the shop.
  2. 2 The side menu Nineteen entries, under exactly the names you see on the screen: Home, Start New Game, Workshop, Live Games, Live Streams, My Account, Champions, My Storage, Market, Friends, Search Player, Ranking, Forum, My Maps, Browse Maps, Wiki, Download, Uwerta Shop and Tutorial. An administrator gets a twentieth: Admin Panel.
  3. 3 Start New Game This is where a match begins. The entry CHANGES ITS NAME when you are already in a match, in a queue or in a workshop session — then it takes you back to whatever is running.
  4. 4 My Storage Everything you own. The number next to the name counts the items you have not opened yet.
  5. 5 Uwerta Shop Three currencies live here: ShopPoints (topped up with money), Uwerta Points, and chest keys. The shop is the only place that shows your balance.
  6. 6 Download The Windows game client. Inside the client itself this entry is called About Client instead — same place, different name.

Getting the client

5

Where the Windows client is, what the download page claims about the game, and where the system requirements actually live.

  1. 1 The header folds away The arrow collapses the header and remembers your choice. The same pattern is used on several pages of the site.
  2. 2 Download The button hands you the current release. When there is no release ready, a greyed-out COMING SOON stands here instead.
  3. 3 What kind of game this is 2D MOBA Action, 1v1 Battles, Ranked System, Unique Champions. 5v5 is not among them — it is the only mode still marked COMING SOON.
  4. 4 Two videos How to Register Account and Getting Started Guide. Both play here, without leaving the page.
  5. 5 System requirements They are not on the download page — they are here, in the wiki guide: system, RAM, disk space and connection.

Avatar and elixirs

5

How elixirs reach your champion, why only one avatar counts, and what can burn a slot.

You need to be signed in — these steps happen on pages that ask for an account.

  1. 1 Your elixirs The bank, grouped by type. There are SEVEN types: HP, Mana, Speed, Magic Level, Luck, HP Gain and Mana Gain. An elixir is DRAGGED onto a slot — you do not click the slot and pick from a list.
  2. 2 Your avatars Every avatar has five elixir slots, and any type fits any slot. Only ONE avatar is active at a time: "Set as Active" decides which, and only its bonuses reach your champion.
  3. 3 How elixirs work The page states it in four steps: pick an elixir from the bank, drag it onto a slot, a random value is rolled from that elixir’s range, and the bonus is yours.
  4. 4 The 2% burn Filling an EMPTY slot is always safe. Overwriting a slot that is already taken has a 2% chance to burn it — the elixir is gone and the slot goes back to empty.
  5. 5 Demo on the page Hover over the demo elixir to watch the drag animation. Nothing is spent and no slot is at risk.

Storage, chests and the Market

5

What your storage holds, why OPEN asks for a key, and what SELL actually does with an item.

You need to be signed in — these steps happen on pages that ask for an account.

  1. 1 Header and search The header folds away and the search box stays with it. Items are shown 24 to a page.
  2. 2 What lies here Everything you own: champions, skins, avatars, elixirs, chests, keys and premium. Every card carries two buttons — OPEN and SELL.
  3. 3 OPEN needs a key A chest opens only with a key. Without one the button turns into "Buy key" and sends you to the shop. A new account gets 2 chests and 0 keys, and the key costs 150 ShopPoints — bought with money — or comes from the referral programme.
  4. 4 SELL means the Market SELL does not sell to the system: it lists the item on the player Market for Uwerta Points. That is the only way to earn Uwerta Points without paying and without opening chests.
  5. 5 What you start with 5 champions plus the ones from the current rotation, one avatar, two chests and three random elixirs. No keys — that is why the chests wait.

Starting a match

5

Where a match really starts, which modes are playable today, and why the browser will not start one.

  1. 1 Before the battle Four shortcuts: the wiki, the champion list, the item list and the client download. This header folds away and remembers your choice.
  2. 2 Choosing a mode Six modes are playable: 1 vs 1, 1 vs Bot, 2 vs 2 Bots, 2 vs 2, Free For All and Workshop. 5 vs 5 is the only one still marked COMING SOON.
  3. 3 When the server is off If the game server is down, the grid of modes is replaced by two greyed-out cards reading “Server starting soon…” with a SERVER OFFLINE button. Nothing is broken — the server simply is not up yet.
  4. 4 You cannot start from the browser Clicking any mode here opens "Desktop Client Required" with a link to the download. Matches start only inside the Windows client — the website is for browsing.
  5. 5 What happens in the client A mode takes you to a lobby with your rank card and a Search match button. When an opponent is found you accept the match. Champion AND skin are picked on ONE screen — the skin selector appears above the grid once a champion is chosen. Then Lock in, and Launch client.

The shop and the three currencies

5

Which currency pays for what, where your balance is shown, and the one thing Uwerta Points will not buy.

You need to be signed in — these steps happen on pages that ask for an account.

  1. 1 Three currencies ShopPoints, Uwerta Points and chest keys. This bar is the ONLY place on the site that shows your balance — the top bar does not carry it.
  2. 2 Seven categories All, Champions, Skins, Premium, Elixirs, Points and Avatars. There is no Chests category — chests are not sold here at all — and the chest key has no category of its own, so you find it under All.
  3. 3 Prices on the cards Every card shows a ShopPoints price. An Uwerta Points price appears only on avatars, champions and elixirs — yet a SKIN can also be paid for with Uwerta Points; the purchase screen accepts them even though the card does not say so.
  4. 4 Buy is not the purchase The button opens a confirmation screen where you choose the currency and confirm. Nothing leaves your balance before that.
  5. 5 Where the currencies come from ShopPoints: only from a top-up with money. Uwerta Points: from chests and from selling on the Market. Keys: for ShopPoints, or from the referral programme. No match gives you any of the three.
